Web Genius was founded by Richard Calkin in 2000 and has grown from small beginnings to a team now consisting of around 50 - servicing over 1000 clients in New Zealand, with 100s more using the Web Genius system worldwide. Programmer Matt Parlane came on board in 2001, and together Richard and Matt developed the leading edge methodologies and software toolset that underpins Web Genius's business. All that time, the overriding focus has been on enabling the best ways for a business to use the internet to generate more business - both in the form of new customers and in getting existing customers to spend more, come back more often, over as long a period of time as possible. The company is based on the beautiful Kapiti Coast, just north of Wellington and is represented around the country by our team of local web marketing advisers.
