About Rotorua Aero Club Inc
Established January 1938
Rotorua Aero Club promotes all aspects of aviation to the people of Rotorua. Founded in 1938, we have a long history of involvement with the wider Rotorua area. Previously, the Club has operated the Wunderflites flight-seeing brand but now focusses on recreational aviation. We no longer operate our own aircraft, and are unable to provide trial flights, instruction or aircraft hire. However we work closely with other operators on the airfield who offer these services for those interested. We work in with Whakatane Aerohire who visit once a month on Flying Sundays and provide GA and microlight flight training and aircraft hire.
