Tauhara is a Retreat and Conference Centre located in Acacia Bay, overlooking Lake Taupo in the centre of New Zealand's North Island. As a non-profit spiritual, cultural and educational centre , we offer affordable spaces for conferences, workshops, team building, weddings, educational seminars, events and retreats . With facilities for 60+ guests , Tauhara often hosts a wide range of group retreats, conferences, gatherings and educational seminars. It is also possible for people to stay as individual retreatants, taking time out for rest, recuperation and reflection. The kitchen is revered far and wide for the fresh, often organic and often vegetarian cuisine that is served to guests. There is also a meditation space, The Sanctuary, which is always open for individuals to take quiet time.
