About Smart Moves Creative Dance

Smart Moves Creative Dance school offers fun and engaging dance classes for both boys and girls from 6 months to 8-years-old. Traditional teacher-centred dance classes are often too rigid. This can cause children to lose interest since they are not able to exercise their own creativity. At Smart Moves we strive to develop both the physical aspects of dance technique, such as co-ordination and control, as well as fostering children's own creativity and self- expression through movement. Smart Moves offers a playful, positive, and non-competitive way to promote healthy development through active movement and creative expression. Classes are available in both Papanui and Riccarton.
