About Queenstown Snowmobiles

Established May 2014

Queenstown Snowmobiles offers the only wilderness snowmobiling experience in New Zealand. We have exclusive access to trails & back country riding, by way of helicopter only, with breath taking views across to Mt Cook, Mt Aspiring and down to Stewart Island on a clear day. Our professionally guided tours cater for individuals, families and small groups of up to six people. We provide quality snowmobiles, all the gear and guides for a great winter experience. The 2 hour wilderness snow adventure departs from Queenstown airport and includes helicopter flights, backcountry snowmobile tour cruising to an altitude of up to 6,000 ft above sea level, amazing photo opportunities and a quick snack. The tour moves at a comfortable pace for everyone. Queenstown Snowmobiles operate 7 days a week with four daily tours. Snow and weather dependant, our tours will operate from early June to late October
