Russian translator Natalia Galvin (Ostrovskaya) was born and raised in Belarus. She learn t Russian and English , then studied English at International House in Minsk. In 1999 she emigrated to New Zealand as a consequence of the catastrophe at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Natalia holds a degree in Economics, a Master's Degree of Professional Studies in Translation with First-Class Honours and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Translation Studies. Natalia is a certified Specialist Teacher of English as a Second Language (TESOL), a member of The New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters and is an authorised translator for the New Zealand Transport Agency.
