Paul is a specialist sports physician and a fellow of the Australasian College of Sports Physicians. He has a worked as a general practitioner for 10 years prior to working in sports medicine for the last 10 years. Paul has worked as the medical team doctor to Waitakere City soccer team, Auckland Stars basketball team, Tall Blacks basketball team, Breakers basketball team, NZ Knights soccer team, NZ Junior ferns World Cup team and the NZ Paralympic team. He has published research into hyponatremia at the NZ Ironman and completed a Masters degree on the subject. He runs a referral based service in the Auckland CBD and on the Auckland North Shore. Paul has a contract to see ACC related injuries and is also available to consult regarding private sports medicine issues. Referral can be made by doctors, physiotherapists and other health professionals.
