Biosymph Chemical Products was founded in 2011 and is a 100% New Zealand owned and operated company. The founders have extensive knowledge in polymer chemistry and chemical engineering. Our products are developed specifically but not exclusively for the farming community in New Zealand. Various world wide practices and products were evaluated and researched to find suitable products for our needs but with no success. So the alternative was to develop products ourselves to render the specifications and results that our customers, and we, were expecting and hence the Biosymph company was established. Biosymph Chemical Products manufacture BitPost Timber Stain and Preserver. BitPost is an alternative product for Creosote or Carbolineum. It is a New Zealand manufactured bituminous emulsion / polymer product. Because of its rot-resisting and disinfecting effect, BitPost is ideally suited for the preservation and staining of wooden structures such as Post and Rail fences or sheds etc. BitPost is a water based product and cleans up with water. It gives a high degree of water repellence and will retard distortion, movement and splitting of timber, due to weather exposure. The colour is dark brown to black, similar to Creosote. Biosymph also manufacture GilsoFlex Roof Paint and Sealer which is a bitumen based co-polymer product specifically designed for tile and metal roofs.
