Great service
Bike It Now organised our entire Otago Rail Trail cycle holiday end-to-end (thanks Deirdre!), we didn't have to do a thing except pay and turn up. State of the art bikes were provided, and an action packed itinerary. At the start Fletch took my friend and I to a local café, shouted us coffee and walked us through the itinerary to give us a few tips, which was a really nice touch. We stayed in some great places along the way, and dined at some lovely cafes/restaurants. They also put us in touch with a good tour operator (Off Trail Tours) where we did a bit of curling in Naseby and drive to St Bathans and its surrounds. Fast and perfect
We hired two bicycles from Bike it now to do the Clutha Gold Trail. Within 20 minutes we had our bikes (they were brought to Alexandra). Both bikes looked rather new and were just perfect. Great bikes! On the second day we were punctually picked up and brought back to Alexandra. Everything went smooth, fast and in a perfect way. THANKS! Highly recommendable. School Cycling Trip
On our Y10 camp we used Bike it Now to hire bikes. It was so easy - when we arrived the bikes were all set out waiting for us and the students were instructed how to use the gears and brakes. Roxburgh Gorge Trail and River Trail to Clyde
On Saturday 16th Nov I rode the Roxburgh Gorge Trail and continued on to Clyde via the River Trail from Alexandra. This was after great advise and information from the team at Bike It Now. They advised me of the $95 boat ride in the center of the Roxburgh Gorge and after discussions with them and the friendly folk at Lake Roxburgh Lodge I went ahead and booked. What an absolutely amazing ride, stunning views all the way, amazing trails although not technical, but if it was technical I would not have had the time to admire the view. The Jet boat ride was also worth every penny, Dave the driver was informative and fed me great information on the history of early settlers and the gold mining that went on there and finish off with a great spin at the end. One Day Wonder
At Labour Weekend seven family members were dropped off by Fletch at Auripo and we biked to Chatto Creek. Great bikes but almighty wind which never seemed to be behind us.. Loved the scenery perfect ride for those who want to do the tunnels and viaducts plus a bit more. Nice break at Lauder for coffee and cheese scone. Lee - Birthday Trip
Two weeks ago six of my close friends and family completed the rail trail supported by Fletch and her team. We had a wonderful time.Everything was so well organised - the bikes were great, food and accommodation superb and of course the trail itself is amazing.I would highly recommend this supported tour as we didn't have to think of anything during the whole week. Fletch went out of her way to make our experience something to be remembered. Not only did she support us on the trail but she also did lots of extras such as driving us to places of interest that weren't on the trail. Awesome experience

Very helpful and informative.
My husband and I wanted to experience a small part of the rail trail. We walked into this bike shop and the young girl was soo helpful. We rode along the Clutha river to Alexandra and rode back along the rail trail. Our bikes were fabulous very comfy. Great service + great bikes + local knowledge!
We had an awesome day MTB riding in Clyde & Alexandra thanks to Duncan at Bike It Now. He set up our hire bikes including a seat pannier so we didn't need to carry a backpack, and he put on my own MTB pedals. Our small hire car wouldn't fit the bikes so he recommended a great route from the shop, taking in the rail trail to 'Alex' then back up the river through a meandering trail thru the trees. Awesome day, fantastic value and they even dropped off my forgotten pedals at my hotel in Queenstown - what service!! Loved it.
Really liked Bike it Nows focus on personalised service. They went out of the way to assist with ensuring all components of the trip fitted together even it was outside of their responsibility. Good fun staff. And the Otago Rail Trail, and all the people along the way, was fantastic.
